116 Hour Pre-licensing Course for New Licensees

 (Also Pre-licensing Course for New Real Estate Auctioneers)

COURSE DESCRIPTION

            This PRO-ED course is approved by the South Dakota Real Estate Commission for 116 hours of pre-license education for Real Estate Broker Associates and Auctioneers.

            Real estate offers a very rewarding career opportunity and PRO-ED has been a leader in real estate education for many years. PRO-ED brings together some of the region's most recognized instructors to teach this course - offering you experience and a depth of knowledge you will not find anywhere else.

            Tuition includes your textbook and all course materials. In addition, you will receive "Your Guide to Passing the AMP Real Estate Exam". Additional study aids are available for purchase if desired.

            We recommend you register early. We require a non-refundable $100.00 deposit, which will apply to the course tuition of $1195.00. We will send/give the textbook to you when we receive your deposit, so you can read the book prior to class and be better prepared.

            State Exams are given on computer in Sioux Falls and Rapid City, Monday through Saturday.

RESPONSIBLE BROKER

A Responsible Broker’s License is required in order to be the Responsible Broker for a real estate office in South Dakota. To obtain this license, you must have served actively for two years as a Salesperson or Broker Associate (or a combination) and complete the 15-hour “Responsible Brokers Course”, beyond the Broker Associate education of 100-hours. Once you have completed the above, you may continue to work for another Responsible Broker or you may choose to open your own office.
